We respect your privacy. No patient data is ever stored or shared.
RxMedCalc ("this website," "we") provides free clinical calculators at rxmedcalc.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any patient or clinical data.
All calculations — including weight-based doses, lab values, clinical scores, and dates — are performed entirely within your browser (client-side JavaScript). No input you enter into any calculator is ever sent to our servers or any third-party server.
We use Umami Analytics to understand which tools are used most. Umami is:
Data collected: page views, tool interactions (click events), referrer source, country, and device type — all anonymised.
This website displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing activity. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalised ads via Google Ad Settings.
We do not set any first-party cookies. Google AdSense may set third-party cookies for ad personalisation as described above. Our analytics provider (Umami) does not use cookies.
Some pages link to external resources (guidelines, WHO documents, government health portals). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.
Because no clinical or personal data is transmitted or stored by us, there is nothing to breach on our end. The site is served over HTTPS via GitHub Pages.
Some tools (growth charts, milestones, paediatric dosing) are designed for use by clinicians managing child patients. We do not knowingly collect information from children directly. All calculator inputs remain local to the user's browser.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please use our Contact page.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
